What I did all May: A Recap

For most part of May, it was Game of Thrones and few other bookish updates that I am starting this post with.

I did it again! Harry Potter

I shifted to a new home this month and the change left me no time to pick up something new so I switched between multiple books. They were mostly re-reads which included Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire as well. One of my friends visited The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando and her pictures tempted me to visit Hogwarts again in my own way.

‘Celestial Bodies’ Won Man Booker International Prize

This book is originally written in Arabic by Jokha Alharthi. I was surprised that I haven’t heard about this book until now. However, I have added this book to my anticipated reads and I am getting good vibes about it.

Binge-watched Game of Thrones

Well, this month has been all about Game of Thrones. Right? For all the GOT fans, this section is for us. Game of Thrones has been THE BUZZ in the past few weeks as the final season got aired. We had waited patiently for 8 years to finally see who sits on the Iron Throne and we did. I am not going to give away any spoilers but just this that people have been unhappy about this season, called it lazy writing with no story and many many loose ends. However, if you ask me I would say, I enjoyed the show nonetheless.

Revamped my Bookstagram

I have been thinking about this from a very long time. I needed a change as it was getting monotonous to post every single day. I lost my purpose in the middle, didn’t know where to take this account in future. It is still undecided of what I want to do and how I want to go about it, but for now I think I am at peace with my bookstagram.Processed with VSCO with preset

Let’s Talk

This has been my May in brevity. I intend to pick up some good books in the upcoming months and increase my reading count.

What did you read this month? How did your May go? Any favourites of the Month, bookish or non-bookish?

Happy Reading!
