6 Bulky Books From My Shelf

Do you judge books by their volume?

Some prefer to read a lengthy book. And, some can’t go beyond a few hundred when it comes to choosing a book.

I used to be the first kind but given the amount of time, I have these days I have shifted to being the second kind of reader. This is one of the reading habits that I want to change going forward. Because irrespective of their volume, these books are worth reading.

  1. So far I am liking Mystery, Thriller and Suspense Books. I will not read into Romance novel it’s too predictable, cliche and just cringe. Reminds me too much of lifetime movies. I like the challenge of mystery and suspense books. As it relates to the volume it doesn’t matter as long as the book is good I’ll read it.

  2. I don’t mind long books, but I definitely don’t prioritize them. I also find that most larger books tend to be either classics or fantasies, which I don’t have time to read during my semester. But there are definitely quite a few bulky books that I’ve enjoyed, and several more that I hope to read in the future!

    • I totally agree. The last bulky book I read was a fantasy and that was before my job started. With so much going on all the time, I prefer to pick up short books. I still do hope that I read some bulky books from my shelf like 1Q84 because it is going to be totally worth it.

  3. I haven’t read any of these, but last year I read Les Miserables and IT. It’s nice sometimes to have a novel take up a huge amount of time, thought, and space on my bookshelf! I’ve been getting in the mood for another long book again – I think it’s about time I picked up War and Peace!
