WWW Wednesday | 7/3/18

Greetings to one and all.

WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme formerly hosted by MizB at A Daily Rhythm and currently revived by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words.

The rules are very simple. The three Ws stands for the following questions.

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?
  • Currently Reading:

shikhadi

I’m currently reading a mythological book Shikhandi and Other Stories They Don’t Tell You by Devdutt Pattanaik. It is a non-fiction which retraces the existence of queerness in Hindu mythology through storytelling. So far I am liking the stories because they are thought-provoking.

  • Recently Finished:

I finished The Great Gatsby yesterday and I simply loved it. The writing, plot line, characters (except for Daisy). In spite of some minor irks, I feel there are multiple layers to the characters/story still waiting to be discovered. I will be posting my review very soon.

  • Next Read:

villete

Villette by Charlotte Bronte is the book of the month of the Bronte Book Club. I am crossing my fingers for reading Villette because Charlotte is my favorite Brontë. I have read Jane Eyre which got me started with reading so I really have high hopes for this.

Well, that’s all for today. I will be back with some more books next week. Thank you for reading.

Happy Wednesday!

    1. Thank you for telling me. I’m glad someone has read it because not many people talk about Villette. I hope I like it.
I would love to discuss my thoughts with you. ❤️

    1. Thank you. 💚I loved The Great Gatsby too. 🙋 Also, Jane Eyre is my favorite book. I’m sure you will like it.
I read Wuthering Heights ages ago but I’m pretty sure I’ve mixed up the details.😅
